I've been playing music since I was 16 years old in a variety of smaller venues. Through the years, I've performed acoustic one to two man shows and created Mayflight, a three-piece rock band with two of my friends. Dabbling in guitar, vocals, and bass, I have written a handful of songs with my band.

I began writing poetry more frequently in 2012 after deciding I wanted a creative writing minor to go along with my Mass Communication major. While I am still perfecting my art, I think poetry is a great way to express my inner thoughts and revelations about the world.
